BASIC INFERTILITY COURSE

A comprehensive course which involves basic endocrinology sciences, stimulation protocols for IUI, detailed use of stimulation drugs, and setup of IUI laboratory and semen processing. The trainees will be given hands on training on follicular scans, semen processing, IUI and patient counselling.

ELIGIBILITY:
  • MBBS / DGO / MS / MD, Practicing clinicians who have keen interest in learning more in Reproductive Medicine.
  • Basic knowledge of vaginal ultrasound will be an added advantage.

    COURSE TYPE: This course helps clinicians to understand the basics of reproductive medicine which includes the basics of reproductive anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, endocrinology and pharmacology. It will also cover the basic stimulation protocols and IUI technology with exposure to infertility related hysteroscopy & laparoscopy surgeries.

  • Introduction to basics of reproductive medicine, lectures, case discussions, stimulation protocols, evaluation of infertile couples and treatment planning
